Down South for the Weekend

Down south for a visit with great friends makes a weekend great. I apologize to those Regina friends that I never had a chance to call while we were down there but the time just went too fast! I PROMISE next time I'm down I will let you know.

Friday night we saw Chemical Horizon (see below). Saturday afternoon, Kim & I headed out with Jen & Ethan for a tour. Ethan went out for his first restaurant visit and what a good boy! He slept through the entire lunch! Yes - we did eat at DQ but no blizzards - we did buy a cake for supper however.

Saturday night we celebrated Jay & Chris' Birthdays...however Chris wasn't able to come - but he was there in spirit. Or in the spirit of a bear? We had a delicious supper made by Kimby. Isn't Ethan the CUTEST little guy?

Chemical Horizon Rocks Out!

Another trip down south takes us to see Chemical Horizon who are sounding great as usual! We really enjoying seeing these guys in concert and wish them all the best in what it to come for them in the future! Sounds like they have a few shows lined up and perhaps even an acoustic one! New Years - Welcome 2007!

This year was our turn to go to Regina for New Years. We didn't have any big plans this year but we still had lots of fun!

December 30th, 2006
Kim, Chris, James & I feasted. James & Chris had crab while Kim & I had steak. Kim and I are HOT! Our hubby's are sooo lucky.

December 31st, 2006

Kim and I stopped for a quick visit to see Tammy & Regan's new house. We chatted for a bit with Tammy & Kodie as the boys (Regan & Tyson) went out. Have you ever seen such a little cutie in your ENTIRE life.

December 31st, 2006 - January 1st, 2007

For New Years we headed over to Jen & Jay's oh sorry, Jen, Jay, Ethan & Scotty's house. Jen and Jay have baby Ethan now and he's so cute and little! There was Kim, Chris and Brewster, Winia and Carlin, Jen, Jay, Ethan and Scotty, and James and I! We ate food from Western Pizza and played Nintendo Wii (oh and some Guitar Hero).

Visiting with a Friends...

Tim & Rachael (Schartner) Onsrud moved back to Birch Hills so we had a chance for a visit while we were home for Christmas. What a good visit and I hope that we can see more of each other now that they are living back here!

This past weekend we were over at Mark & Amanda's for some visiting and Monopoly. Amanda and I are looking gorgeous as always. (please note NEW Indianapolis Colts sweater - go Peyton!)

Vanier Cup - November 25th, 2006

This year my office took us and our spouses to the Vanier Cup as it was in Saskatoon this year. Can you say typical Saskatchewan weather? It was -22degrees celcius with a -30 windchill. I wore every piece of clothing I owned to try to keep warm which made me waddle instead of walk. By the way, the next week in Saskatoon it was -6 degrees.

Bowl-a-Rammmmmaaaaaa - November 17th

Another Regina Trip - November 10, 11 & 12th, 2006

Howdy Boys & Girls,
Friday November 10th, we once again headed down south to where there is no snow and the weather is warm. I'm SO not kidding! You should see the snow we have and Regina has nothing.

Friday November 10th
Chris' band, Chemical Horizon had a show at the German Club so off we went.

Saturday November 11th
As the girls went shopping (Kim, Jen, Tammy, Kodie & I) the boys did boy stuff. Saturday night we all went to Jen & Jay's for supper. Tyson & Kodie started out the night all shy but in no time at all Tyson was wonder "who turned these rockets on". (ok - so maybe you had to be there).

So Sunday came around and we'd be leaving right after the Roughriders lost. (arg.) It was a good weekend - thanks for the visit all you southerners!

Little Sister turns 25!

Saturday night a hole bunch of us went out for supper & drinks at Brewster's for Kim's b.day. On Sunday my little sister turned 25!

It's Baby and Fondue Time - Friday October 20th

Friday early we headed to Regina. I got to see little mister's ultrasound (Jen & Jay's baby). SO COOL! He's looking healthy and we got to see his little heart just a going. His little nose and kissy lips - well kissy lips until the doctor confirmed he was a boy - then he seemed to be frowning after that. I think little mister felt violated...

Friday night we did a fondue at Kim & Chris' place. Kim & Chris, Jen & Jay, Gerry, James and I were all there (oh and so were Scotty & Brewster). Anything you can imagine to fondue - I think we did.
